Laparascopy,pregnancy

Hi ladies please help me,i had a Laparascopy done to remove a cyst in my ovary and it went ok and i also wanted to check if everything was fine because i'm trying to concieve. Gynae said everything is alright and that my chances of falling pregnant ar very ''high'' but it's been 2 months and there's nothing.....
was just wondering how long it takes to fall pregnant after a Laparascopy surgery was performed and if there's anyone who went through the same thing....

sorry for my stupid question i'm just a bit worried....

i am in the same boat with you,TTC for 10 months, i too had a laparoscopy to remove large cysts from both my ovaries that was 3 month ago my dr. said its better to get pregnant as soon to prevent the cysts from coming back, all my hormones are OK, DH semen test result is very good too, we are both in good health, other than the removed cysts, we have no problem (I hope) i am craving a baby and i am doing all i can, last month he put me on clomid and FSH to help, last month i saw 3 mature and large follicles on the ultrasound but unfortunately no pregnancy, this month i am on clomid, FSH & HCG i have an appointment today to check the follicles an hope it will work this time, i pray to GOD all the time that it will work, pray for me please, I hope you the best too, we only have to take it easy, although its not as easy as saying it but i am trying my best..wish every one have babies without problems

I understand your frustration , i am sure the surgery will not affect your chances, even before the removal of my right tube it took me 7 months to conceive my two, i think i obsessed too much i  didn`t let my body get on with its job, it totally took over me especially with my first child! good luck x

I don't think your question is stupid.  Anyone trying to get pregnant under these circumstances would be concerned.   I just had a cyst removed and the Dr. said that I could still have children if I wanted but that it could take longer.   I am not trying to get pregnant so I can't tell you how long it will take but I can tell you that everyone is different.  I read in a post under "pain management" that an ovary can stop working after the other has been removed but it will start back up.  I don't know how true this is but maybe that's why it will take a little while.   I hope this helps in some way.  Maybe you should just try and relax and not worry so much.  Maybe your body needs more time to heal or something.  Good luck!
