Ugh.  Don't get me started on bosses.  Insensitive jerks.  The company I had laid me off from my job shortly following my return from medical leave for my own surgery.  I still have friends tell me I should sue them.  I don't have the fight in me to do it.

Do you have any medical documentation to show them?  Get as much in writing as possible to prove you are not telling stories.

Oh, that is a terrible thing to do to a patient!  Irresponsible as well.  Just take it easy the next few days and do not do anything strenuous that could cause a rupture.  Best wishes to you.

morning everyone, just to let u know i did not go in for surgery this morning like i was supposed to. the doctors rooms called me late yesterday afternoon to inform me that my surgery was postponed till next week (not sure when). this is now so fustrating cos i have prepared myself for it and now they postpone yet again. i went into the hospital yesterday, paid in my deposit, made all the arrangements, filled in forms and all thhinking i was going to be admitted this morning at 5. the reason was the assistant to the surgeon was unavailable, which i think is unacceptable. i mean its our lives that they are playing with. the gynae told me that this thing is growing and he feared that it might burst now they are procrastinating with surgery. im so irritated right now.
i just want to get this over and done with
the pain is killing me

You'll be in my prayers as well.  Please write back to us as soon as you are able to do so following surgery and let us know how it went.

Mostly, get plenty of rest afterwards and do not rush to lift anything heavy for awhile.  I hope you get an excellent surgeon and excellent medical care.

Youll be in my prayers! i truely know the fear you have..i have it too. i was scheduled for surgery on the 8th of this month but it was called off due to blood work problems. i had an elevated liver enzymes report..and then a cat scan of the abdominal area and it showed sluggish gallbladder..and a few lymph nodes that are 1 to 1.5 cm, i had a terrible gallbladder attack the other night..man does that hurt..they say "STRESS" brings them on too..oh boy..i now have to wait to see a gyno/onco feb 4th. so talk about stressed out!!!!!  You are LUCKY to be getting your surgery now!!!  lets PRAY for each other!! we all need those prayers!!!!!!!!
