can time hurt me?

my fam dr ordered an ultrsound  due to symptons n history of ovarian neoplasms.ultrasound showed a 7cm complex mass on right ovary which stated surgical removal. called ob/gyn asked if i could wait till nov till i could get ins but was told no it could not wait that long, that what they found required surgery. went to ob/gyn today, she asked when my last pap was, told her bout 4 yrs ago. she said i needed one, asked if i had ins. i told her no n she said well  the pap could wait. she said she not gonna do surg now she wants to wait 2 months n do another ultrasound to c if it resolsve itself, if not then she would do surg. im concerned that her decision to wait on the surg is due to my lack of ins. can the 2 month wait harm me?should i call someone else? help im scared.

Thank you and I have spoke to my family doc who had ordered the ultra sound in the first place and he advised me to contact RWJU who has a clinic. He said it needs to come and there really is no reason to wait.

I would not want to wait.  The type of cyst you have is a more concerning type although still, over 95% are benign but they can't be sure until they remove it.  Also, it is growing and you don't want it any larger.  I imagine you are having pain and other symptoms too.  I would insist on surgery now or find another doctor.
