ovarian cyct

Hi, I am 39 and new to this forum , I have a question. Over a year ago  I was told that I have an ovarian cyst, fibroids, and a cyst on my cervix.  These were found on an ultrasound because of night sweats and my cycle was messed up after years of being on schedule.  So anyways, in the last month I have been having severe hot flashes, about 3 a night.  I also gained some weight and lost my sex drive.  Has anyone else had these symptoms w/ ovarian cysts.  I have been tested and I am not in menopause! Any advise would be helpful.

thanks!

I am scared to death to have my ovaries removed.  I am only 39 and don't wanna go into menupause yet! but i suppose this has to be addressed. I am all screwed up anyways.
thanks for all the info.

Please don't wait and have this addressed.  You should have another transvaginal ultrasound to determine if there have been changes and to know what kind of cyst you are dealing with.  Over 95% of all cysts are benign but we need to ensure we know what we are dealing with and not ignore a possible big problem.  You need to have them rule out ovarian cancer.

I ended up having a 16 cm cluster of cysts that had bled together.  They did remove my ovary and tube as well.

Actually just taking a mix of vitamins.  I found that idea on the internet.  My family practitioner didn't seem too worried about it.  But i think my symptoms are getting worse, so at my next yearly physical, I think i will need to ask more questions.  Did your surgery just remove the cyst or the whole ovary?

When I had my cysts I had severe peri-menopausal symptoms too.  A few months after surgery everything went back to normal.  What are you doing about your situation?
