cyst trouble

Hi, I had a 7cm benign cyst removed last week that id had for 2 years. The last few months before removal I got varying symptoms but one was as though something was there. Thats the only way i can describe, maybe a slight numbness feeling around the cyst area and sometimes groin area. Since having it removed i can still feel it and wonder if its just stuff healing or if im going mad!  I also have an anxiety disorder so wonder if i sometimes imagine its worse than it is?!  What does anyone think please?  Thankyou x

Im no doctor but maybe ur still feeling it because ur so used to having it inside you that you always feel it. And maybe now that its gone your body feel like its still there. Maybe you should let ur doctor know what ur feeling and ask if its normal? Or it can be all in ur head too since ur so used to having it inside you.

Btw, how was ur laparoscopy experience?

Don't worry - you are not going mad! Those sensations are likely from the surgical healing that is taking place. And you may still have some sensations after everything is healed due to adhesions (scar tissue) forming.

My experiance was fine, had it before. Was home on same day but slept all day in hospital after op. The feeling is around the ovary,a little to the right of the scar and im wondering if the cyst pressed on tendons, nerves when it was there and now everything neefs to return to normal. I havnt rested at all and hsve lifted so im sure i havnt helped!  I know i also had adeshions seperated aswell and ive heard these can give that "pulling" sensation x
