periods after laprascopic surgery

I had surgery for an ovarian cyst May 13th.  Since the surgery I have had my period (lite) 3 times. The first was 4 days after surgery.  Then the next time it was  a week later, and now 11 days later since the last one stopped I notice blood again.  Two days ago I was ovulating....could this be related?  I am confused.  I was having really bad back  pain the last 2 days as well.

I actuallly have both my ovaries...it almost seems as if they are both working close to the same time.

Did they remove an ovary in the surgery?  I got 3 periods in a very short span of time after my surgery but once the remaining ovary kicked in (about 3 months) I was back on track.
