hi ive been told by my gno that i have a 46mm cysts with a septum in it is this anything to worry about. i went for a tranvaginal scan and the lady who did the test didnt want to tell me anything i asked if the cysts had grown from my last scan and all she said was i had to talk to the consultant, which i found very annoying as i was left in the dark. my symptoms now are still the same as before but now im getting the odd twinge in my abdomin and i am struggling to go to the toilet. it hurts when i pass a stool it sends a sharp pain around my abdomin. i had the scan on friday 14th how long do you think it will take to see the conultant. thanks kat

Hi,
Don't be too annoyed with the US Tech.. They're not supposed to say anything about the results. That is up to your Dr.
Laney has given you good advice. When do you see your Dr. again? Please let us know.

Good luck,
Sandy

Have you ever had endo? I too had ovarian masses on both ovaries, with septums and blood flow on color doppler. Mine turned out to be endometriomas on both ovaries and a mucinous cystadenoma on one of them. It turned out to be benign by the concensus of pathologists which I am very glad for. Don't try and guess what all the results mean, I drove myself crazy reading my reports and looking at the scans....ugh. Talk to your doc and get the facts. Good luck and keep us posted
