Added one diagnostic test to prescription that doc missed but informed him later
Did I commit a crime and be charged with something. I informed the doc and report went to him.. FYI Doc had missed ultrasound for abdomen.. Am I unnecessarily worried here

Altering any prescription is illegal, no matter what the reasons were.
The doctor, the insurance company and the business where you had the testing done ALL could file complaints and you could cost your doctor legal, license in and payment issues as well.
You should have called the office and they could have faxed or mailed the new prescription/ order for the test
