prickling/shooting pain in right hand.

since roughly two weeks ago, i've been experiencing prickling/shooting pain in my ring and pinky finger whenever i put weight on on my right hand, such as when using it for balance to stand. it fades immediately as soon as i stop, and doesn't affect me when weightlifting or working out, just when i press down with that hand. it seems to be subsiding with time, but i was wondering if anyone could tell me why this was happening.

I agree it sounds like someosort of nerve issue that you are dealing with. Have you contacted your doctor he might give you a temp. medication to help this out.

Hi, I think this is a nerve problem.  It might be the ulnar nerve, I'm not sure.  I have carpal tunnel, and have similar pains.
