Central Nerve Pain from SCI

Has anyone had any success in dealing with central nerve pain? I sustained an injury to C3,4 & 5  three years ago and was totally paralyzed from the shoulders down. After emergency fusion surgery, I am now able to walk on a walker and use my arms and hands. However, as I became stronger the spasms increased and general pain began all over, especially in my hands and back. I am now struggling to get around. I am on gabapentin `1500 mg and 1600 mg of Ibuprofen. I have tried PT, swimming in an aquatic pool,.chiropractor, accupuncture and massage. The pain is still increasing. I also have to deal with low blood pressure and it seems that drugs such as baclofin and other relaxers drop my pressuer.

Thanks for the prayers. We have been to several pain clinics and nothing has seemed to work; however, the doc did say that the spasms were a good thing because they keep working my muscles. We keep in touch with him regularly and keep trying different things.

I as well suffur with nerve pain and there is help for this. I have been going to this clinic now for 4yrs. Sure hope all goes well. Sending prayers.
