Chest Pain Relieved by Water

I had this for the first time today, and if it had not been on the right side, I would have called 911.  My chest hurt, throat hurt, even my jaw and was nearing towards my ear.  I had a bottle of water on my desk so I started drinking it, and the pain slowly went away.  It left me weak, like after an anxiety attack, but otherwise I guess I'm ok.  Scary to see so many others have this, but also a relief.  I really was considering calling 911.

I doubt if drinking the water had anything to do with relief of your symptoms. Jaw pain can be due to cardiac ischemia. I believe you should have called 911. I think you need a medical evaluation as soon as possible. If this happens again call 911.

Hi and Welcome. Thank you so much for beginning a new thread. It's very appreciated.

I'm happy to your pain was relieved by water.... or the time it took take out the water and drink it was time enough for the SX to resolve.

I don't want to frighten you but in my opinion you need to consult your PCP, especially given the weakness you experienced post incident. Plz call your PCP and report this episode. I encourage you to make an appointment.

This may be an unexplained incident like many others have experienced but it may be a warning sign of an underlying condition. Plz don't dismiss this.

We'll look forward to hearing from you again soon. Please keep us updated. I also hope you'll join our community.

My best to you and please take care,
~Tuck
