Compassionate KY Pain Management Doctor Clinic

I recently moved to Ky from Oregon and desperately need recommendations for a compassionate doctor experienced in Fibromyalgia & Rheumatoid Arthritis to continue my pain management.  I've already been to 1 group of "pain specialists" for a consultation, but to be completely honest, I was very disappointed.  They seemed to be geared more towards surgery/accident victims and not chronic pain conditions such as mine.  They also told me  the DEA here wouldnt allow them to prescribe the medications I had previously been prescribed during the last 7 years-- hydrocodone10mg and duragesic 50mg patch. These are quite common therapies among friends of mine from my previous Fibro Support group......Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

Google " Co-cure good doctor" You should be able to locate a doctor that specializes in Fibro. Good luck.

I'm sorry I can't help you locate a PM doc, but I find it surprising that they can't continue those meds. as you say, they are pretty normal for people in pain. do you also take other non-narcotic meds for the FM and RA? how much do they help?
have you tried googling a pain specialist? it's worth a try.
do  a local search 1st(include you area in the search) then try a broader search if unsuccessful.
unfortunately dr's often leave finding pain clinics to thier patients(esp when the patient is moving elsewhere). surely they should be more involved?
good luck, hope you find a good one.
