Pain behind lower right rib

Hey,
I am a male 20 years of age and I just have a question about some pain that I've been having. The pain seems to be behind my lower right ribs. The pain however only becomes present when I stretch out that side of my body or arch my back. The pain is a quick sharp moderate pain that goes away immediately when I retract from the uncomfortable position. If i push in the area on the ribs where the pains comes from their isn't any pain. Also their is no swelling or and bumpy surface above the area of the ribs, and i also don't have any fever. The pain started about 4 days ago and seemed to get better around the second and third day though today was the worst and seemed to bother me more when I have been moving around. Anyways hope you can help and I appreciate the advise thanks again..

It may be your gallbladder or pancreas. I had something like that and had my gallbladder taken out. once it got worse, they diagnosed me with chronic pancreatitis. You never know. it could be anything but it's always best to check it out. I just had a friend that retired from the marines and he was having some stomach probs but the marines wouldn't give him a colonoscopy saying he was too young and we just found out he has stage 3 colon cancer with a 46% chance of survival. Just check out everything is my advice.

Sounds like a muscle spasm. Give it a few weeks. Or visit a doctor for a definitive diagnosis. Has taking Advil helped?
