My pain management doctor dropped me for having a CLEAN UA.

I have to drive 50 miles to see my pain management doctor.  Because of this, I do not take hydrocodone and drive.  He gives me 30 pills a month, I am a teacher so I usually take one pill after school and the effects last from 4-8 pm (roughly).  I had my appt. after school, didn't take the pill because I had to drive 50 miles and I know I could get a ticket for DUI, and he had me take a urine test.  Of course, it turned out clean!  Because it was clean, I was dropped as a patient!  Our small town does not have a pain managemenet dr., so I am at a loss for what to do!  I guess my only option was to drive under the influence of narcotics but I won't do that.  Any suggestions?

I'm so sorry to hear. They are looking for any reason to cut people. Any, all, manufactured. It's happening in Canada as well.

I'm so sorry, it is a nightmare! Inhumane treatment.
