Pain in my thigh joint.

About a year ago, I started experiencing sharp pain in my thigh joint (the area my life thigh joined with the upper limb, just beside the scrotum). The pain is very sharp often comes intermittently and lasts only a few seconds. After putting ice on the surface, the pain seemingly disappeared; but it appears to have come back again as I have experienced it intermittently between last month and now. What could be responsible for this pain and what could be the remedy? Should I consult a doctor?

You may have pulled a muscle - or it may be something else. Your best option would be to consult your doctor for a better answer.

If the cause of the pain is undiagnosed- of course you should see a doctor. You may have simply pulled a muscle but there is no way for us to guess what may be causing it.
