This is certainly possible. Everyone metabolizes opiate medications differently, especially those that require a two-step process, like oxycodone.
Part of every opiate rotation is a titration period where doctor and patient find an effective dose of the new opiate, and experience shows that pain should always been treated with a minimum dose of opiates.
Remember that chronic pain is never 100% alleviated with opiate medication and it is important to include other modalities in treatment.
Good luck with your new regimen.
Yes I am, however that dose is not effective, is there is readjustment period (not a detox period)? I need 15-20 mg of Oxycodone to replace 10mg of Methadone.
According to my calculator, it's 60 to 90 milligrams.
Are you thinking of rotating away from methadone?
