Alcohol injection neuromas and interaction

I had no idea where to post this so sorry if this is in the wrong section. About a week ago I had to get an alcohol injection in my foot for a nerve (neuroma), and have to go get another one on Thursday. I have also been given oxycodone for an injury I recently had. I know that you cannot drink alcohol and take pain killers, but is this the same thing? Will the injection / pain killer interact with each other?

Thanks

Yes you can drink a small amt. if you want to die. My wife found me face down in our driveway but woke after she shook me. I really wouldnt even think about it!

Hi!
Yes, you are right—you cannot drink alcohol if you are taking opioid pain killers. However nerve blocks can be given if you are on oxycodone. Usually nerve blocks reduce the dosage of oxycodone. Take care!
