I am very thankful for my husband. He does everything for me these past two years without complaint. I'm also very thankful for my online friends who know what I go through and live life in this severe chronic pain. I'm thankful for those who help me through my situations and guide me to the right people and places for my neck injury. I would be much worse off if I didn't have your support and the support from the spine forums I visit.
I agree - NOT throwing up is a banner day!
This is a great post because I think people forget to be thankful for some of the things we see everyday, like the sun shining. I am thankful for my friends that have stood by my side, old and new friends, I am thankful for my job so I'm able to pay my bills and live comfortably and I'm thankful for my family and my kitty cat Sam who makes me smile all the time, even when she is trying to chew on my fingernails. Thanks for posting this and I hope a lot more people will answer with what they are thankful for. I'm happy to hear that you kept stuff down today, when I was having issues with my hernia I couldn't keep anything down and was always throwing up medicine, food, etc... so I totally understand where you are coming from. I hope everyone enjoys their evening and as pain free as possible.
I am glad you are not throwing up any today .I do with this IBS and it's the pits .I am grateful today for my husband and my son who have been there for me.I am also grateful that my IBS flare up seems to feel a lot better today .I am not cramping and am able to eat today .I am grateful for my little chihuahua Jackson who has always got my back .He never leaves my side and has become such a comfort to me.I am grateful that I have a caring DR who will treat my pain and make my life so much better. There are so many still suffering who don't have help like I do .The more I type I realized how blessed I am .Thank you for this post .We all need to count our blessings more .Take care Melissa
I'm happy for you! It's terrible to throw up, isn't it?!!
Let's see. I am thankful that I have food in the fridge. I am also thankful that I have the freedom (in the US) to go to church and to have a Bible to read. I am thankful for my house.
It's hard to be in pain all of the time, but it does make me look at things differently than I used to--in a good way, I mean.
I like your topic a lot. You're right. We do need to be thankful--even though things are difficult.
