This is difficult for me to explain, so bear with me.
So, here's a scenario: It's late at night, and I'm laying in bed. I've got my laptop on my legs; I'm organizing/deleting files, and I've got some music playing. I'm chilling out when I suddenly feel this extremely painful itch on my right ankle. The sensation was so random that my body actually jolted. I immediately scratched the area. The source is really, really tiny, like a pimple, but the area becomes real tender, and it'll feel as if the actual sting moved locations, if that makes sense?
Sometimes a small pimple-like bump will appear; sometimes, it'll break out into a cluster of swollen skin inflamed with swollen bumps; sometimes, it'll appear as a bite-like bump that's a bit bigger and flat; sometimes, I notice a small white/light-colored patch that might be a bit raised; and sometimes I notice an incredibly small white dot that looks to either be popped or appears to be dead skin.
Something else I just realized was how the areas felt like it flared up? It's like if something small and hot touched an area on your body; you can just feel the area flare from the source to the surrounding skin, y'know? Not only that, but there seems to be a variability between it on my skin and feeling it deeper into my muscles.
I don't know how else to explain it! I'm sorry! I was diagnosed with chronic urticaria in March 2020; maybe that's adding to this? Regardless, it hurts really bad, and the randomness of it makes the whole thing worse. They tend to happen specifically on my scalp, arms, legs, thighs, and neck, but it's been all over my body. I've told doctors about it, and it's like I didn't say anything to begin with.
Does anyone have any ideas on what this could be? I hate trying to anticipate this; I can have a scratch-free day, but then suddenly experience this sensation on my body.
