Hi Maria,
Welcome to MedHelp.
I can not provide the names of doctors willing to prescribe methadone in your area.
Are you seeing a pain management physician or undergoing treatment for substance abuse?
Methadone and suboxone are used in treating opiate misuse and abuse, but in clinic settings, they aren't used to treat pain, but rather as maintenance therapy to prevent relapse.
If you were taking methadone for pain, your best option is to find either a board certified physiatrist or pain management physician, and work with them to manage medications for your pain.
The problem you may run into is the use of suboxone and methadone clinics as they typically require the client to be an admitted substance abuser in order to qualify for their programs.
Who was treating you for spinal stenosis? You may have to start with a new updated imaging/diagnosis, if it's been years since you last had regular treatment with a primary or spine practice.
I wish you luck in finding treatment.
