headached

hello all,
i m new to this forum, and i saw this forum and impressed by all people are helping each other and giving medical help.
i have headache problem. this pain occurs when i go out for any function or roaming around or even after lots of office work.

this pain of headached is located behind my ears. little bit above my ears. and behind my back side of head.

when i press top of my head, pain behind ears and around the top becomes unbearable. and then pain little above my neck also occurs.

due to this i am unable to do anything. but when i go to sleep for more time the pain goes and i become relaxed.

this has happend may times. and remedy is sleeping.

why this is occuring? is anything is serious?
shall i see a doctor.
pls guide me

Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am glad that you found us and took the time to post. Please excuse my tardy response.

I believe we do have a wonderful community too. Thanks for noticing. Our members are chronic pain sufferers. Some of us have headache issues but most of us do not. So your post have have gone without a prompt response for that reason.

That said you are always welcome here. You headache could be stress or sinus related. Only your PCP get get to the bottom of your symptoms....and yes I would consult him/her. Stress can do strange things to our body and cause multiple physical symptoms. A sinus problem can do the same. Until you are able to see your PCP you may want to talk to your local pharmacist to obtain suggestion for pain relievers.
