Also start keeping a headache journal of when they happened, how bad they were on a 1-10 scale, anything that might have triggered it, what you did/took to try and help with the pain and if it helped, how long they last, this will help show any patterns that they may have and help you identify possible triggers.

plus... more than likely this is what your dr will ask you to do when you approach them about your head pains... this will put you a step ahead to finding everything out. :) good luck!

Hello,

Welcome to MedHelp's Pain Management Forum. I am sorry for the head pain you are experiencing.

You are so young to have pain issues. I suggest that you see your PCP as soon as possible. You may have some migraine or similar issues but it is very difficult to guess what could be going on with your pain. I would suggest you request a brain CT, with contrast to rule out any serious medical conditions. Do not put off a consultation with a physician. It could be nothing serious but it certainly bears an evaluation.

Good luck to you. Please let us know how you are doing. Peace, Tuck
