I cant sleepin the position  I want to. after driving long distances, night time my pain is unbearable! it feels like a very bad toothache ... has anyone ever went threw this pain?

Have you looked into getting the cortisone shot?

It could be bursitis. I have gotten bursitis on both my shoulders before as well as my hips, elbow. I eventually had surgery one shoulder due to the shot not helping it, but turned out (after MRI) I had a cyst and tear on that one.

The shots really helped me. In fact on my good shoulder I have gotten the shot twice in about 3 yrs.

i know what you are going through, i have been dealing with both of my shoulders in pain for the past 3 years. i had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder and that did not help at all. i haven't been able to lift my right up for the past 3 years. i am taking all kind of medicine but with no relief.i also had 9 months of physical therapy that did nothing for me. i have seen 7 orthpedic doctors and they have not done any thing for me.

no I havnt! they don't seem to think I need one even though im in the office in tears! im going to try to find a Dr  tomorrow, hopefully they will help, its really hard these days because of all the ppl that go in wanting pain pills ya know? the dr automatically think that's what we are coming in for, because every office I called to make an apt for they asked me what was I coming for so I said an ongoing pain in  my shoulder, she says... we don't treat patients for pain anxiety or depression , im like WOW!! I SAID WELL FIRST AND FOREMOST IM NOT LOOKING FOR PAINPILLS!.. I like your name fixme2013 :)
