survey Vit d 3 FIBRO CFS mps tps

My endo just started me on synthryoid 50 mcg due to multinodular goitor  neck pain hypo symptoms fibro symptoms and more  my  tsh is normal but a  high ANA  i exhibit fibro symptoms chronic fatigue bouts myofacial pain and trigger point pain  my endo discovered  my VIT D 3 was dangerously low so i am on 50,000 iu  1 per week for 5 wks then retest now my muscle pain and bone pain is almost gone the thyroid neck tenderness pain is gone after 1 pill   = 1 week the TPS is not as severe  so is there anyone  else who was treated like me?  how many of you want to try  getting a VIT D blood test done or just try  taking vit D3  at walmart prices 5.00  and see if your symptoms improve? now mind you walmart is only 1000.iu mine is 50,000 iu Rx pill or is it the synthyroid making me feel more normal?    what ever is happening to me  i am feeling less like an old lady who couldn't move and i am 43 female .

this therapy is for any type of thyroid symptoms  normal range yet we have fibro symptoms . if this makes sense,
now my ENT Dr said  he never heard of this VIT D 3 and was happy to learn something new from my endo  , he sees thyroid nodules and goitors alot and he is going to start running this VIt D  with his TSH tests  from what i figured low d is hypo symptoms HIgh D is hyper symptoms  but i am having less fibro symptoms so again is this the  Synthyoid or D 3 that is helping   hope we can learn from each other and save money!

Thanks for the information. Because I lost over 3 feet of my small intestine(MVA) I have to be very careful what I eat and take. I have a "dumping" too that is caused because of the lose of all that small intestine. I have to avoid fatty foods and take multivit with minerals. I just get those at Wal-Mart. I do have to give myself monthly injections of Vit B12 that of course is by RX. I am glad you have perked it. Yes Vit D maybe useful for Fibro. As I said I couldn't believe the difference it made for me. And it came on so gradually I didn't realize it. I just knew I felt worse and had all these new symptoms. It was my doc that caught it.  Anything is worth a try when you hurt. Keep in touch. The best to you.

i perked up saturday around 11 am,  i took my synthyroid  7 am , no palpatations yet i feel more alert  focused and hungry? i hope the synthyroid helps me get the excessive off not put wt on? now i have IBS and spastic colon  i call it dump syndrome i should be skinny as a rail but i'm the opposite it seems as though this synthyroid and vit D is slowing my innerds down , i'm eatting more of the yorgurt for your innerds smile , now my bro has celiac diease he got this after his chemo and radiation for brain cancer and my ex sister inlaw and nephew wass just dx with celiac  now they live on dairy farm  and i would think that would be a no no as cows graze and eat all kinds of grasses but i'm not in tune on the gluten and wheat synopsis now i had my gallbladder out and i dump alot mostly greasy and oily foods but i don't have the doubling up pain and naseausness now i  use to take pancreatin enzyme its amelyse lipase and protease i by it from vitaminshoppe  and it worked for me i have to start it up again but with this thyroid being goitoris i wasn't sure if my pancreatin caused the goitors my gastro endo said he dint' think so  sooo i am due for my rotor rooter i'm doing the handful of pills and drink every 15 minutes and since i dump everything i doubt i will need the whole prescription so you might want to considering searching vitaminshop i am sure papaya is a natural digestive aid and cinnamon now chromium picolinate is a stablizer  MSG kills me so read the lables most canned soups are msg wolfgang brand is more natural i think? hope we can compare more notes , since VIT D is working for us maybe those FIBRO  hypo symptoms might want to consider  this ,

I am sorry to hear you are having some nasty symptoms. I hope the synthyroid helps perk you up again too. Palpatations can be scarey. I do not have Fibro. Among many other health issues I have Malabsorption Syndrome. Five weeks ago my Vit. D was found to be dangerously low too and I was having FM like symptoms. I am on even a higher RX dose. It took about a week befoer I began to feel better but what a difference the Vit D has made. It did nothing for the severe SI Joint Pain I have but it helped the generalized aching (throbbing sometimes), painful joints and extreme fatigue that I was experiencing. Who would have thought a vit deficiency could cause such issues????
I hope you are feeling better soon. Hang in there.
