Pain!

I tried to stop a fall and in doing so I twisted my left leg and got a severe pain in my lower cheek on my *** that went down to my knee. I saw black and starts for a brief second or two. It did cause me to cry. Now I have terrible aching in my cheek and it also goes to my knee. What can possibly be wrong. I hate to go to the doctor if all he's going yo do is prescribe pain killers and muscle relaxers. Not into meds.

Anni, get to the doctor NOW! That is ridiculous "I hate going to a doctor if all they are going to do is provide meds" -- that is a PASSIVE attitude -- you go now, and you show up and TELL them you want to find out if everything is okay, YOU are in the driver's seat my fine lady, if they offer you meds, just say NO if you don't want them.

The thing is, if a muscle relaxant will help SPEED healing, don't be so stubborn. And if an NSAID (e.g. ibuprofen) will stop or slow down calcification which in the long term might be harmful, then, again, don't be so stubborn.

Go get it checked out, you don't want something getting WORSE because you didn't get it checked out in time.

Well you will have bruising  and for that you can need to apply cold compresses, arnica or cold set natural yogurt.

You may have caused damage to a bone.

If the pain went from your butt at the back of your leg to the knee, you may have damaged part of your lower back causing impingement or pressure on the sciatic nerve - sciatica.

Go to the ER and get an xray done to make sure there is no break.
