I have an 8 yr old daughter
I have an 8 yr old daughter and she has begun to tell me some crazy thoughts, which I have no clue how to help her get rid of. She has been telling me that she has thoughts that come to her mind that people have affairs and she has started to pair people together. How do I help her understand that this is a society and we are not animals without any social order. I have tried explaning about what a healthy relationships are and it takes a lot to just go out there and have sex with someone else. I am not sure where she's getting these thoughts but I am very concerned about it and seeking some professional help
Why are they crazy thoughts? she may have heard something, any relative whose matrriage has gone wrong, any TV she watches, did she say the word affairs 'thats an adult word I would say she has heard that from someone else.She doesnt need help perhaps if you dont question her it will go away ,Good Luck
