I think what you might be talking about is growth hormone therapy, and yes, I do know a very little bit about it. Some children are born with a very low amount of the hormone necessary for proper growth. Typically this testing would take place if a child is not following his growth curve, not just because he or she is small in stature. For example, a child born in the 3rd percentile for height is considered normal and healthy as long as he stays on the 3rd percentile. If he dropped, then testing for a lack of naturally produced growth hormone may be done. It is something that needs to be prescribed and taken properly, and is usually administered through daily injection up until (and maybe throughout, I can't remember) puberty. It is used to achieve or come close to achieving what you are sort of genetically predisposed to, but aren't due to an actual medical issue.
It is not something to be taken lightly as it is a hormone and yes, there are side effects. Like anything there are risks and benefits, and personally I would do a lot of research prior to taking something like this.
As far as I know pargine is not marketed in the US... maybe you should do some research to see if it can be administered anywhere else .good luck
