Grandson

Hello my grandson was jsut born today, he was 8lbs and 13 oz we were surprised at his weight but was very please being that his sister who is 4 was only 2 lbs.  I got home and my daughter called and they had to put him in the NICU, I did noticed after he was born he was breathing very fast and grunting like, he was a c-section baby.  They say that his lung is leaking, can anyone tell me about this and what it all involves, I will ask the Dr but being that I live over an hour away I may not get there til late tomorrow.

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson, I have heard of this before and I believe it was fixed with no problems, however put this question onto the Doctor Forum site for a better answer, Good Luck and Happy Grandmomming!!
