High fever red eyes ear pain lump on skull behind ear help!

My daughter is five years old. She had high persistant fevers for five days. She had extremely bloodshot eyes and a sore throat and ear pain. Her pediatrician ex her sd she had a virus. Then an ER trip suggested Kawasaki disease and white blood cell alarm in her urine. It was only day 4 of fever so we were sent home cuz she was hydrated. Said come bk after day 5 of fever which we did that ER doc said he wld not treat for Kawasaki becuz no rash. He sd she had swollen lymph nodes and sent us home again. 6th day no fever all of a sudden. I let her rest indoors a few days and return to light playing. Then her Dad got her for the weekend took her swimming against my wishes and today she came home weak with bad ear pain, very sore throat, eyes that were almost back to normal are getting red again, no fever but the strangest thing is a lump the size of just less than a quarter on the skull behind the middle of her ear. It is not tender but there is pain in that ear. I had mastoiditis as a child.

Hi, i was wondering about your daughter. We are currenly going thru a similar situation with my daughter, monthly recurring infections, rash, red eyed,  high fevers and her blood work is all messed up. Out of the labs that were ordered, 13 came back abnormal. Her pediatrician is send us to an infectious disease specialist and thought maybe i would share this thought with you. I looked up kawasaki and it sound similar to what my daughter has as well. I would suggest if this continues, get her to a specialist who knows more about these types of illnesses. Good luck and i hope your daughter is feeling better.

Has she been swimming before the first infection' I have known children who react the the chloride in the water, you say she went swimming again and the symptoms are back  ..the lump could be a lymph node.It may be a good idea to take her back to the doctor for another check up ..good luck
