Hi all!
I am a 16.2 year old male, and am currently roughly 5'9'' and ~150 pounds. My mother is relativley short, but my father is ~6'1''.
Always been concerned with my height, so I recently got a bone age study and was told that my bone age is similar to that of a late 16 year-old male or early 17 year-old male. I was wondering if it is sitll possible for me to grow 1-2 inches to 5'10-11''?
My father had a growth spurt from 5'10'' to 6'1'' at around 19 years of age, but obviously, I am unsure if his bone-age was similar to mine. Do I still have any chance to set myself on a similar outlook? If so, is there anything I can do to maximize my potential (any kind of supplements, etc;?) I eat a relatively good diet, get enough excercise, and get enough sleep, so probably not much I can do on that front.
I ask this because I am not sure if bone-age tells the entire story... i.e. even if my bone age is slightly above my age, does that mean I cannot fill out these last couple inches to inch closer to my father's height?
Thanks for all replies!
