Prolapse and rectocele repair operation

I now need a vaginal/pelvic floor/rectocele repair operation. I think the mesh seems to have too many complications, I would like to hear from women whose operations have lasted for years, please tell me what you had done, and how. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Australia, can any one  recommend a surgeon  please?

Thank you for your responses. How many years ago did you have the mesh put in? Can you feel it?

Please google urogynecologist + Australia, it should bring up some listings. Then google the individual dr by name to see what you can find out. Mesh is a good thing (I have mesh) when a fellowship trained urogyn puts it in-complications are related to drs who are not experienced in these procedures.
