Hello, I already have had I think it's called sterorhinoplasty last summer now next surgery coming up is to fix a ightly sldeviated septum. I really have to have the septum fixed as my breathing has not been clear or 100% for years, since I broke my nose.  

Any advice is welcome!

Rhinoplasty is not without side effects and it includes infection, injury, bleeding, skin problems, including breakdown of skin tissue (skin necrosis) and irritation from the tape and bandaging and serious nasal blockage caused by swelling inside the nose.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. Rhinoplasty does not just gives a defined shape, it also corrects the breathing problem. But I don't know what happened in your case. It might have caused because you consulted a wrong surgeon. One of my friends had a similar problem with her nose and she just undergone a Rhinoplasty. It did not just gave her a new nose, instead it could clear her breathing problem also. Dr. Robert Backstein from Ontario was her surgeon. Anyway, I recommend you to go for a good surgeon. Only a right surgeon can do it right for you. Take care.
