Skin necrosis

I recently had a tummy tuck and as a result have skin necrosis right above the pubic area.  I am not or never have been a smoker.  What could have caused this and how long will it take to heal?

This discussion is related to swelling after tummy tuck.

I too had necrosis.  My doctor went to Africa three weeks after my surgery.  After he returned he cut out all the dead skin and I had to stuff it for weeks to follow.  It also happened to my boob after a boob reduction.  It hurt very very bad to pick out all that dead skin out and I have seen him 46 times but finally it is getting ot the point where it is almost healed.

I too had a recent tummy tuck and developed necrosis, I mean it's bad, and ugly! I also am not a smoker. My tummy tuck was done on 9/1/08.
Have you found any information on the treatment? I think my doctor is puzzled , and I need to find a new one! (Dr. that is)
Please help!
