Rapidly Gaining Weight

I am only 5ft 1inch tall (short). Prepregnancy I weighed 142 pounds. Prior to then I was 175 pounds. In total I lost 33 pounds.

Now that I am pregnant I do not mind gaining the weight back, especially considering what I will have at the end of these 9 months :) I am now 10 weeks pregnant. I have gained almost 6 pounds since becoming pregnant. Everyone tells me to eat and be healthy for me and the baby, ect.... But, I am worried that I am putting on the weight too fast. According to some of my friends it looks like I'm already starting to "show"!

People say you show earlier and earlier with subsequent pregnancies. This is my second time around and I looked pregnant at 11 weeks and didn't show until around 18 with my first. Does you Dr think you are putting on weight too fast? Maybe he is a better judge for your situation.

Try not to stress, just eat healthy most of the time and I'm sure your body will do what it is suppose to.

Ten weeks pregnant... first question: is this your first or second baby?
second question: could it be two instead of one? I don't mean to jinx you if you only wish to have one.
