Ok, so in another forum I read that a lovely lady had been told eating too much ice can give your unborn brain freeze. Absolutely no idea where in history the theory came from or if its even true.. ??

However, it got me wondering... What *old wives tales* have you been told about pregnancy? X

I asked my midwife that question and she looked at me with a blank expression then asked if I was taking the mik lol ice cubes can be a sign of anaemia but not always.

My son came across something....eating apple's is suppost to give you a boy and eating cake a girl! All this before conception Ofc.

He had the blank expression off me then lol

Hi I'm 38weeks.today .and.i lI've for my ice today lol. i.crave.it so.bad i.get.upn.the middle. of. the night. tp get some lol butits doesn't give.the.baby.brain.freezing. at.the most it wakes.them.up.lol

I drink fridge water even though its winter and my baby just responds in kind when that happens. No brain freeze at all.

I've heard if you get heartburn ur baby has hair! If u crave sweets it's a girl and salty is a boy! If someone tells u to hold ur hands out and u put them palm s up its a girl. .palms down its a boy! That's a wierd one..lol!
