Progesterone level using Prometrium - 6dpo

I am 38 w/PCOS and have had FSH, HCG shots this cycle with Clomid. My doctor had found a small tumor on my pituitary gland that was causing hormone issues, prolactin HIGH, progesterone LOW, so he put me on Dostinex to lower the prolactin, and Prometrium to increase my progesterone. They said I had 3 good eggs release this cycle. They did a blood test on 6 dpo and prolactin was 9, and progesterone was 44... Is that a good sign or is the progesterone elevated from the prometrium ? We have been ttc for over 1 1/2 years, and I am not getting younger. Any hope at this time would be great. They said I couldn't do a hpt as the HCG shot could give me a false positive. So I have to wait, and the next week and a half will be the longest of my life... HELP or input ? Thanks !

Thanks for the note & wish of luck. From what I understand PCOS is more common now - it is Poly-Systic Ovarian Syndrome.

I will keep you all updated. Thanks !

I can't really offer any advice as I have no experience in PCOS but I did want to wish you luck and know that I will be keeping you in my prayers that you get what you want and deserve!!
