7 weeks ans so hungry

I'm only 7 weeks and I am so hungry? Is it all in my mind? No naseua, just feel like a bottomless pit :-)   I just started 3 days ago. Im eating a normal size meal and two hours later, I'm starving again. I am a healthy eater, yogurt, fruit, nuts, no red meat, tons of fiber but I found myself pounding dough and making a full size pizza. Needless to say, I ate 3 quarters of it and was hungry an hour later. Is it too soon to be this hungry? Is it all just in my mind?

I had this too. I used to eat peanut butter sandwiches.

You might try eating more often but smaller meals. You probably won't be able to go more than 2-3 hrs without food for the next few weeks/months.

Congratulations.

I think 7 weeks is a bit early but luckily I did my food shopping this week, on a full stomach. The snow kept me indoors so that pizza got the best of me :-)  I will def speak to my doctor about the iron issue this week. Thanks gals

Yeah, I second the advice about the iron. I eat very little red meat and I suppose little iron as well. As a result, I've now got a low iron count that I'm trying to correct with iron pills (which I hate) as well as some diet changes. But yes, the appetite increase is normal. I had that, too, but a little later than 7 weeks.

No this is completly normal and should settle down after 12wks. although some women continue to feel hungry all the way through their pregnancies, just make sure your getting enough iron if your not eating red meat
