Another ectopic?

I am currently 7 weeks and 1 day pregnant with pregnancy number 6. I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks with my first pregnancy, a healthy boy with my second then this year I have had two miscarriages and 6 weeks and an ectopic which was discovered at around 8 weeks. I have been having my HCG levels checked Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the last three weeks and despite it being low up until Wednesday it was doubling then it rose by 600 and by another 600 on Friday. As of Friday my HCG level was 2400 and I was 6 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have had itnernal ultrasounds at 5 weeks.. nothing could be seen except a large cyst on my ovary. At 6 weeks a small gestational sac could just be seen, and on Friday a gestational sac but nothing in it. I have had no bleeding, no pain and I still have pregnancy symptoms. My OB has a 'cut off' of Friday but I really do not want to wait that long if I am in danger of having another ectopic and a possible rupture. Has anyone had anything similar to this and still had a viable pregnancy with such low (but increasing) HCG?

I agree with Lisa.  If they saw a sac in your uterus, its not etopic (unless I guess its a twin situation).  From what I know of etopic, Dr.'s don't mess around with it, and if he thought it was etopic, I am sure he would of said something.  The reason they didn't see anything could be for a variety of reasons...could your dates be off?  At this stage you could be right on the border of when they see a heartbeat, and it may still be too early.  If your HCG's are increasing, thats a good sign.  I wouldn't rush into anything either.  I wish you luck.  I too have had multiple miscarriages and I understand your fear.  Please keep us posted, and I wish you all the best!!!

If they saw a gestational sack, was it in your uterus?  If so then I dont think you should rush into any thing.
Some of the ladies on here mention that you do not always see a heartbeat or fetal pole at 6 weeks and your numbers are doubling even if it is on the slow side.
Lets see what other have to say on this subject.
Be patient
