Be over joyed that your baby is going to be big. My girls are now 4 wks old and today Emily weighed 6 lbs and 6 ounces and Alexis 5 lbs and 14 ounces. They have grown so much but still are such small babies
Congrats that is wonderful news!! Enjoy that big o baby girl :)
Thanks girls...My sisters and I were 8lb+ babies, so I guess it's a family trait. Rachel..relax and eat? That's my problem!!! LOL
YaY for big babies...aka giving birth to 3mo olds!! It makes me sketchy to purchase "newborn" clothes for sure!
Hey girl...don't sweat it!! They are more accurate now than when I had my older kids 22 and 20 years ago. I never had a sonogram with my dd, I was 18yrs old at the time, never had a u/s at all with her and she weighed 10lbs 2 1/2oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. My ds was 11lbs and was 22 inches long. His u/s the day they induced me said he would only be 8+ lbs. My youngest who will be 13 on Aug 2 (good day to have a baby), they induced 3 weeks early because his u/s said he was already 10lbs, he only ended up bein an even 8lbs and was only 19 3/4in. Sit back and relax, everything is going great and soon you will have a beautiful chunky monkey and all will be right in the world!!!!
What a great visit!!!! Oh, I love big babies!!!!!!! Cooper came about three weeks early and he weighed 8lbs 3.5 oz so needless to say I am worried about having another Chunky Monkey, but man I love the fat little rolls!!!!
I would imagine that the measurments would be very accurate. Just sit back relax and eat!!!!
AWW!! They wont do my 3d until after 30weeks, but I had a regular u/s yesterday at 27.0 and they were guessing between 2.8-3lbs. My last 2 (18yrs ago....) were 9.10 for my girl and 10.9 for my boy, so Im no stranger to C-secs. My peri made the comment "...you sure do grow 'em big" :)
