I'm 36 weeks and started having trouble breathing a week ago. Its mostly when laying down. My doc told me I'm not drinking enough water. Its gotten a little better but I hate this feeling.

That is one of the most common complaints. Particularly if you are short waisted or having a large baby, it can get intense! Be careful when standing up. Don't move quickly, & if you get lightheaded, sit down & rest. Also make sure you are drinking lots of water & that your prenatal contains iron. Sometimes, simply doing those two things will help your blood flow enough to ease the lightheadedness. You should not lie on your back. That can actually be dangerous for both you & baby. Don't worry about the c section. You won't feel anything, & they will monitor your oxygen levels.

I agree with the ladies above. What helps me is exercising.. go for a walk don't lay down it makes it worse since the baby moves further up. N when u eat

It's normal as baby grows and takes up more space inside.  Try to get in a comfortable position that helps to relieve this.  Also avoid rapid movements.
