It just sounds like old blood to me, if your worried then go see your doctor.
No harm in putting your mind at rest, your doctor will be more then happy to see you to check you and baby over to confirm everything is ok and baby is healthy.
Let us no if you go and how you get on. I'm sure everything is looking perfect.
Congrats on your pregnancy love
I has some brown discharge at 7 weeks. Luckily I had an appointment the next day. There was a heartbeat, but the sac was oval, which could mean it's not developing properly. I was also measuring at 5 1/2 week. I was positive about LMP because I was tracking my ovulation dates. I had another appointment the following week to monitor any change. I continued to spot, then at my next appointment I had another ultrasound and there was no more growth, and no heartbeat. I miscarried October 15th, got my period on November 7 and I'm currently 5 weeks pregnant. My Dr. was very straight forward and prepared me when I miscarried. But, now I'm pregnant 1 1/2 mo later. On the other hand my sister did spot early on, but 9 mo later has a healthy baby boy. You just never know. Good luck.
Even though this is not uncommon, bed rest would be ideal to give ur pregnancy the best chance and strictly no intercourse or any internal exams as well. In addition best to consult your doctor get an US and HCG level check . If the color changes or u feel any pain u must report to the local ER.
Agree that this is not uncommon. After sex is a big time that women get this. If it turns pink and then onto bright red, please call your doctor. But most likely this is nothing to worry about. Congrats on the pregnancy!
Brown blood is usually old blood and usually nothing to worry about.
