SO SICK!!!! NEED SUGGESTIONS PLS
im 30w 2d I've been havn a bad hard cough and shortness of breathe since June 2 coughn so hard I threw up on the 5th went to ER on the 7th checked baby he was fine told me its my allergies smh. No way my allergies makn me cough like that! Coughn so hard my stomach hurts and coughn up phlegm. So yesterday morning I started coughn til I got a stabbn pain n my left side I finally decide to go back to hospital cuz this is gettn crazy feel like I have pneumonia idk! So Now they gave me a treatment to open up my lungs then a IV for fluids and added antibiotics to that! Still coughn wit this pain n my side hurts so bad makes me hold n the cough SMFH! They said blood work n urine came back good don't know what's causing my cough. I just wanna know can this cause me to go n pre-term labor bcuz of the hard coughn? It's just all day coughn I asked the doc is it affectn baby he said no just uncomfortable. But idk how much longer baby gonna b able to take this. Any suggestions pls!!!
how long did it take before the antibiotics started working? I am feeling soo sick I will die.. Causing major pains everywhere! I've had 4 children and went into preterm with each of them. I'm 35 wks now and everytime I cough I have to hold myself bc I feel like baby is pushing down. Just wanna feel vetter
Update I went back to ER they gave me antibiotic lord I feel so so much better. Cough is gone basically. I cough once n a while but not hard as b4! The swelln n my foot is gone also. Doc did a sono of my leg no blockage. Thx for the support I'm doing much better now!
I'm concerned about the swelling in one foot. It may be nothing serious, but make sure your doctor is aware, as swelling in only one lower extremity can sometimes be a sign of deep vein thrombosis (clot in your leg), especially if you're at high risk for clots.
Doc told me this med is preg safe as i m on wk 22 now. Also coughing is just uncomfortable but dsnt cause any preterm labor or anything.
I hv experienced that our dat side foot swells which side the baby is on mostly, my first preg i had my left foot swollen n my girl was on my left i was told n felt too.
Allergy n cough i hv been having since Mon last week, being an asthma patient i hvnt had dis bad attacks before. But now i had to go see a specialist in allergies who put me on an inhaler for cough n also two types of anti allergy pills. I hv been hving bad cough n flu with running nose n watery eyes. Felt so much body aches n pains like i was run down by a truck. Gradually the med seems to work n i m getting mucus while coughing. Before it was all dry cough non stop.
