Could I still be pregnant?

I stopped taking the pill on the 30th of July after completing a full packet and then subsequently got my period on the 31st as I always would. My cycle, from memory was always regular and ran for around 28-30 days.

On the 18th of August I had unprotected sex with my partner. We both noticed that I had large amounts of cervical fluid. More than I've ever had before. The same happened on the 19th of August then it lessened on the 20th.

My period is now 2-3 days late. I have been having some PMS symptoms but my period is no where in sight. The day my period was due I had a terrible day, in that I was just bursting into tears and couldn't stop it. I felt totally gloomy. That resolved the following day. I have had some mild cramping in my lower abdomen. My cervix is extremely soft. I took a home pregnancy test yesterday and it came up as a clear negative. I'm not sure if I should just continue on waiting for another week or so and then retest again.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

I agree.  Your body needs time to back on track after getting off the pill.  You might need a couple of months until you get back to normal.  Are you trying to get pregnant now?  If so, retest and i hope you get a BFP:)  You might just be one of the lucky few.  Good Luck.

the first cycle off the pill can be wonky.
you may or may not have ovulated and it may have been later than you think.
i would wait a few days to a week and then repeat the test if AF still is MIA.
good luck
