DTaP shot, ouch!

My darling Dr forgot to give me my DTaP shot when I had my glucose test so he gave it to me yesterday.  Boy is that injection site PAINFUL.  All red,  hot, swollen and hard.  Taking Tylenol and child compresses on my injection site.  Anyone else have this reaction?  Just curious,  My son had the same reaction when he got his.

You mean the tdap for tetanus, pertussis, and diphtheria? When I got mine it did the same as you describe only it was that way for several days. I asked a nurse and they said it was normal.

I agree, by far the most sore shot I've ever received. I was surprised by how sir it was, I couldn't sleep on mine and had trouble lifting my arm too. Not a fan.
