2 cm dialated

Hi I am new to this but I am 34 weeks with twins and I am already 2 cm dialated. I also have gestational diabetes. My question is has anyone had there baby this early? If so do u think they will be in the NICU and do u think I will be giving birth soon since I am dialated?

The doc told me today that under 36 weeks they might as well as full time twins if need support to breath so it depends. but on the other hand 2cm dialeted means its gonna be very soon...it can be a week or 2 which if u reach this stage should be ok hopefully as average full term for twins is 36 weeks...hope this help

I had my daughter at 33w 5d due to pre eclampsia, and she was fine. She was small, but healthy! She spent one night in a humidicrib to see if she could hold her body temperature, then she was just in the normal crib for another 2 weeks in the special care nursery. I hated leaving her there, but it was only until her weight hit 2 kilos and she was feeding normally for 24 hours. Your babies will be fine, lots of bubs are born at this stage of pregnancy!
