HCG Level came back at 11,370

Ok ladies, I just made it back from the doctor thinking I was going to schedule for my D&C today.  Due to the fact that I am heavy bleeding with clots.  My doctor did another u/s and said that the gest/sac was still there as well as something else...  Couldn't determine what, but said there was growth from Mon.  I am confused... He said my numbers was great, and that he have seen women who bleed the whole nine months, and went on to have healthy babies. Stated that bleeding is never a good sign, but we are going to keep our fingers cross.  However, we didn't see a h/b... I know I am about 6wks and 3days...

He drew my blood again, and re-did the test that I took on Mon. Stated if my levels was going up that was good, but if they are going down that's not a good sign  I am passing heavy clots and hurting really bad. I really feel that a m/c is getting ready to take place.  I want to think positive, but can't help but think the worst due to the symptoms I am having.    I know there is not much anyone can do, or say that can change whatever is going to happen, but I really would like to know what you ladies think.

Oh, Yolanda what a roller coaster ride you are on.  I want this for you so bad. I really hope that your little bean is just a slow starter and that everything will work out for the best.  

Sadly like Amanda said this could go either way, but I am not giving up on you and that little one yet!!!!! Kelly is right at least your clot is not your little bean!!!

Thanks, I am trying to stay as positive as possible.  It is good to know that the clots could be coming from some where else.  This is a first for me, and for the most part all of it is new.  I always thought once you got pregnant all bleeding stop. However, since I have been on this site I have learned a whole lot about the different pregns one can expereince.  As well as from my sister who bled all through her pregn with her last child, and everything was fine.  I was a little freakied out regarding the clots thou.  I will keep you all posted.

Well on the positive note, you are bleeding but passing clots but the clot you are not passing is nestled in your uterus! Stay strong!!

Oh Yolanda, it just kills me that you are going through all of this.  The unknown is so hard.  Honest opinion my friend...I would say 50/50.  It's really hard to say. Levels going up is great!  And not seeing a heartbeat at 6W3D is not a cause for huge concern either.  The fact that there was growth since the last u/s is a positive.  Bleeding with clots...well, that can mean many things, and only one is negative.  I remember this feeling all too well...have had it this pregnancy as well.....the wait and see.  Keep your feet up and try to stay calm and positive (I know, easier said then done).  Know we are praying for you and are here for you.  That is the best I can offer...you know I am here for you.
