Has anyone experience this 38, 8 weeks pregnant and brown discharge/bleeding

Hi. I am 38. I just found out I am 8weeks pregnant. But, I have been bleeding they past 12 days. I have cramps, and a brown discharge. I was in ER, all came back NORMAL and great! But, Dr. Said i was diagnosed with a threaten abortion because Mt cramps an bleeding. No explanation. She ordered new HCG test today, level to see if I had a miscarriage or baby still developing. Happy to share, HCG increase at normal levels. But, my Dr. Said still prepare for their worse and continue to take all my pain meds. Has any one had this, what was your outcome?

This sounds to me like a SCH - A woman who experiences bleeding during early pregnancy may actually have a condition known as a subchorionic hematoma (SCH). A SCH is a collection of blood below the chorion, or placenta, which develops naturally as an embryo implants into the uterine lining. Usually the blood is brown because it is "old blood." Some women will bleed while others (I also had this but did not bleed) their bodies will simply absorb the hemotoma. Think of it as a bruise where the egg initially tried to implant. Your chances of having a happy healthy baby are still very high :) Congrats!

Thank you for sharing this info with me. I freaked out do to their crazy cramping with pain. Plus my last MC was at 18 weeks, my baby's heart simply stopped.
I am so sorry :( I can only imagine how scary and very hard it is. I was so worried as well when the doctor told me that I just had to wait and see what would happen. But you will be surprised to know that its more common than you think (the bleed). Thinking of you and your new little one!
