Neg Beta :-(

Well today I got my negative beta results.  Very depressing.  I had taken 2 HPT and were neg but hoping for a postivie anyway.  So AF has not come yet, they said have to wait until my progesterone drops?  Any idea how long this should take it was not high about 20 a week ago.  I so hate my non-normal body.

The Vent:  I have done this before, so I know it is difficult, but had 2 follicles, good lining, TIC at the perfect times and an extra shot, did all the right things during the 2WW and still no pg.  Just stressful.  the worst part is waiting for AF to start again.  She could have come as early as yesterday 14dpo.

So sorry, I know how disappointed you are.  But I agree with adgal- don't give up!  Go get a massage or treat yourself to something special and relaxing next cycle!

I am so sorry it wasn't good news.  But don't give up!  This was your first IUI right?  Lots need more then one and have success.  Keep going, you'll get there!!

i'm so sorry about your bfn.  i just saw my re today.  like you, though i'm 40, i have good hormone level, good lining etc.  did not have to take any additional medication or supplements to help with anything b/c everything looks good.  when i asked my re then why is it that i'm still having a hard time getting pg or having a successful pg even with a grade A embryo... she said embryos don't attach b/c sometime they have chr abn in them.  better not to have them attach than to m/c them several weeks or months later, right?  i don't know how old you are but chr abn happens at any age and with higher rate as you get older.  you can take refuge on this... :)
as for the AF... one cycle i got it the same day i went it for my blood draw to see if i'm pg or not.  that day was funny... i was waiting for a call from the nurse to get the result of the blood test and here goes AF.  by the time the i got the call i beat the nurse to the punch and told her i got my AF so i know the result :(.  other cycles i got the AF 2-3 days after blood test.
again, i'm so sorry about your BFN.  don't give-up... my re told me it is a #s game, especially for women like us who are healthy and has unexplained infertility.  just keep on trying...
