Bump!!! Happy my app finally updated! Hopefully this will be last bump!
Bump...please update ladies! :-)
Maybe there should be more than just three age group forums. I'm 33 but I stay in the 35+ forum because I relate more to the women in that forum. There's a big difference between 24 & 35, and even though I'm 33 at lot of issues/post in the 24-35 forum I can't relate to. It has nothing to do with maturity, I'm just no longer at that stage of life so I'm unable to empathize. And I'm not familiar with the concerns that the women in the younger forum have.
Bump, because apparently people still haven't updated yet.
Bump-Please update your app if you haven't already, as this issue has been fixed & there are other wonderful changes! It clarifies for everyone that forums are listed by age, not weeks gestation. :-)
Why can't they at least sticky this post so it stays at the top until the issue is fixed (if ever)?
Bump...let's keep this at the top so everyone understands! :)
Bump, once again because it is not about weeks of pregnancy, but rather maternal age. Plain & simple.
This isn't meant to offend anyone under age 35. But this forum is more than just about infertility. When I first joined this community several years ago I stayed because of this particular forum and the women I met. Being a woman over (well over) 35, I felt more comfortable being with other women in this group who understands what it's like to want another baby our age. The truth is, some woman younger than 35 made me feel like a freak for wanting another baby my age. I honestly don't feel comfortable talking to someone that don't understand what it is to be my age and want a baby. Again, I'm not trying to offend anyone but if you're in your 20's, you cannot understand what it is to be my age. I understand some of you are having issues like infertility or some illness; but for me it's an age factor and this forum used to be a place of comfort.
MotherGooseGirl, Who is judging you on this forum? Not every situation is age appropriate, but the creators of this site, divided the forums in age specific groups, so we could be with other people who statistically speaking TEND to have the same issues. The problem with the confusion, is that this site has been over run with labor issues, and not specific to age group related issues. Just because you think your more mature and have some of the same issues as others in an older age group, doesn't mean you belong in this forum, because there are others in your age group who also think they have more "mature" issues to deal with, and then this becomes a forum for anyone who thinks they "belong" in a certain group. Why don't you start your own pregnancy forum specifically for mothers with older step children and those with fertility issues? This forum is for mothers 35 and older, period. The confusion, frankly, has gotten frustrating when I'm seeing Gestational age specific issues, and not age related issues! People, please stop taking this personally just because we want this confusion cleared up! Please, I don't care how mature you think you are; this forum is for women 35 and over!
