On June 6th Cooper would be turning one

I just can't believe it......my little angel would have been turning one this Saturday.  We are having a "party" for him. We are inviting friends and having a cardinal themed cake and then we will be releasing red balloons to Heaven.  

I am not sure I have enough courage to make through this day without tears.....I am really trying to be strong, but to be quite honest I am not really sure why.  I know Cooper looks after us everyday, I can truly feel his love in my heart.  

I have one request for you guys. Can you please wish Cooper a very happy birthday on Saturday?? I know he knows all of you, because I always ask him to watch over you!!

Oh Rachel, my heart goes out to you!  I will be thinking of your little man on Saturday...I just lost my Mother on Memorial Day, so he is amongst angels!  I will say a special prayer for both of them!  XO  Pam

Oh Julia! I cannot believe you are having red balloons at your baby shower and you will release them for Coop!! That is so sweet of you!!!!!! Glad to NY will be thinking about my man!!!!

Lica- You know Maddie and Cooper are going to be spending the day together. I mean they are Boyfriend and Girlfriend!!!!! Glad to hear Cooper shares the special day with your Grandmother, hopefully they will share some cake too!!!!!

I definitely will wish Maddie's boyfriend (lol) Cooper a Happy Birthday. They better be behaving up there!!!  He shares that day with my grandmother.  She makes 77 on Saturday.  If you need to cry Rachel, you know that is ok.  We will NEVER ever forget our first born.  Try to enjoy that day and know that Cooper is in good hands now.  God is taking very good care of him.

Sat is my and DH 12 year aniversery and we have a large family so we rented a small hall and are having it double as our Baby Shower, so my colors theme will be RED and when the party is over, me and my whole Family will be releaing Red happy B-day Ballons to your little angle, so he will have lots of B-day wishes comming from Up state NY, You are a wonderful mother, he must brag about you all the time to all the other little angels up there, May you have a wonderful day knowing that so many people love your little boy!! huggs julia

Rachel - my daughter, Jillian, was born very close to the same time as Cooper last year - within a few hours I think.  I'll definitely be thinking of you and him on Saturday!  My mom reads all these posts (she posts a few times here and there) so her and I will definitely be thinking of you and wishing you strength on his birthday!  I have 2 "#1" candles that I've gotten, maybe I'll light both.....

Absolutely, Rachel...I send a little birthday prayer to both him and you on Saturday. What a bittersweet time for you, love...but, as you already said, he's watching over you and the baby and you will both make it through all of this!
